Managing Syncs

Pausing a Sync

If you need to pause a running sync:

1. Find the entity type that's syncing (button will show "Syncing...")
2. Click the ⏸️ Pause button
3. The sync will pause at the current item
4. Progress will be saved

When to pause:

• Need to perform maintenance
• Want to prioritize another sync
• System resources are needed elsewhere

Resuming a Sync

To continue a paused sync:

1. Find the paused entity type
2. Click the ▶️ Resume button
3. The sync will continue from where it left off

Stopping a Sync

To completely stop a sync:

1. Find the syncing entity type
2. Click the ⏹️ Stop button
3. The sync will stop immediately
4. Progress up to that point is saved

Note: Stopped syncs cannot be resumed. You'll need to start a new sync.

When to stop:

• Sync is stuck or not working correctly
• Need to fix configuration before continuing
• Want to start fresh with different settings
