Sync Types Explained

Products Sync​

What gets synced:

  • Product name and description
  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
  • Price and special prices
  • Stock quantity
  • Product images
  • Brand association
  • Category association
  • Active/Inactive status

How it works:

  1. Fetches products from GeSmart ERP
  2. Matches by SKU or reference code
  3. Creates new products or updates existing ones
  4. Updates stock levels
  5. Syncs product images

Customers Sync​

What gets synced:

  • Customer name (first name, last name)
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Addresses (billing and shipping)
  • Customer group/type

How it works:

  1. Fetches customers from GeSmart ERP
  2. Matches by email address
  3. Creates new customer accounts or updates existing ones
  4. Syncs address information

Brands Sync​

What gets synced:

  • Brand name
  • Brand description (if available)
  • Brand logo (if available)

How it works:

  1. Fetches brands from GeSmart ERP
  2. Matches by brand name
  3. Creates new brands or updates existing ones

Categories Sync​

What gets synced:

  • Category name
  • Category description
  • Category hierarchy (parent categories)
  • Category images (if available)

How it works:

  1. Fetches categories from GeSmart ERP
  2. Matches by category name and hierarchy
  3. Creates new categories or updates existing ones
  4. Maintains parent-child relationships
